Daniel & Elizabeth

How often do you get an international model for a client? I got excited when I got a an email asking for our availability on May 12, 2012. Fortunately, we were still open. And truly, beauty was captured by our cameras today. Not just one but a whole bunch of beauties. Well, don’t just read about it. Watch the video! : )

Thanks Daniel & Elizabeth for having digital minds to do your wedding video. You guys rock!

Nestor & Mitch

It was a smooth, trouble free wedding (at least from my perspective). Thanks to Tisha Gerona and her team from Cebu Weddings. Photography by Rock Paper Scissors no less.

Mike & Dianne

I just love it when the groom does something to make the event extra special for the bride. In this case Mike sang as Dianne made her grand entrance at the ballroom to everyone’s delight.

Japan based couple Mike and Dianne came home just for the wedding. They would have done a pre-wedding video but the schedule was tight. So there were talks of a post wedding video shoot instead. And places like Japan (ahem!) and south of Cebu cropped up. Frankly, I wouldn’t mind.: )

This onsite video is one of the longest I’ve made at more than 6 mins. and I finished on time with room to spare.

Peter & Carmel

Mr. Nice Guy Peter has finally tied the knot. He is everybody’s friend especially the photographers and videographers in Cebu. Where did you get your camera? Chances are you got it from that little shop in Baseline. That’s where everyone goes to and has made PRG Photoshop a de facto converging point for hobbyists, amateurs and pros alike. But even if you take away the store you will still be left with Mr. Nice Guy. I’m sure his best man would agree.

So from a guy who practically knows everybody in the industry, it’s an honor to be asked by the couple to do their wedding video. Thank you Sir Peter & Maam Carmel. Photography by Mark Cantalejo.

Best man Lito Inso made a surprise appearance at the reception. Earlier this year, he was diagnosed with cancer and has been undergoing chemotherapy. Yet despite that, he came to deliver his piece. He went back to the hospital shortly after his speech. What a friend!

Richard & Neri

Exactly a year ago, the couple booked Digital Minds to do their wedding video through a good friend and event planner Cielo Villegas. And here we are on the wedding day itself. The beach front venue at Shangri-La Mactan is just perfect. And so are the couple whose ceremony was just oozing with emotions.

Congratulations Richard & Neri!!!

Patrick & Oya: The Wedding

This is our first time to shoot a wedding in Bacolod. And it was one of the grandest I’ve shot by any standard. Pat Dy did the photography and Max Ty did the event hosting. ‘The Company’ rendered a few songs for the evening. What more can you ask?

The bridal march was moving. I guess everybody cried. The massive prep was done superbly by Atty. Pinky Mirano-Ocampo of My Choice Partyshop. Thanks Attorney for taking care of us. Hope to work with you again soon. : )

Patrick & Oya: Lost in Time

Here is a masquerade/carnival inspired pre-wedding video shot in practically half a day with less than 2 weeks to edit before the big day. I’ve always wanted to do a period piece so when Patrick and Oya decided on this theme, I really got excited. I was torn whether to preserve the rich colors of the carnival scenes or evoke a turn of the century feel. In the end I went for the desaturated old film look.

Styling, concept and art direction by Dexter Alazas. Thanks Dexter! : )

Joshua & Phoebe

With just two days until the wedding we decided to combine the pre-wedding video with the SDE. The tight schedule did not dampen our excitement to edit the footages which were partly shot on the neighboring islets off Cebu.

I had the thrill of joining the couple on a 10 minute helicopter ride right after the ceremony at the Shangri-La Mactan Helipad. Many things went through my head including the terms and conditions of my insurance. But all my fears vanished when we went airborne. The pilot made it look so easy. Before I knew it, I was standing on solid ground.

Thanks Josh and Phoebe for making Digital Minds a part of your special day. It may sound cliché coming from me but it’s really true.

Music used is ‘A Thousand Years’ by Christina Perri

Elwin & April

When you propose you want it to be emphatic. You want to be taken seriously. You want to say it out loud and make yourself heard loud and clear. You want it to be an unforgettable experience and make sure you wont get no for an answer.
Elwin found us on the internet. He was planning to propose in a big way so he came up with a plan. As I talked with him I can’t help but notice his nervousness. Obviously he wasn’t used to doing something grand and public. He had sleepless nights thinking and imagining the whole scene. But as they say: Love conquers all so he just did what he had to do. He got some friends to help him execute his game plan. Shooting this in public and in a big university at that made it all the more challenging. The cameras had to be hidden so as not to alert the “victim” who, I was told, was very shy. We cannot anticipate her reaction so we had to shoot incognito. With so much unknowns we began to record the unfolding drama.
